ARLINGTON(CBSDFW.COM) - Before they watched a baseball game, more than 6,000 school children got to learn about and test their weather knowledge.
Students from elementary to high school looked on as we used science experiments to teach about how clouds form and how the wind can impact the weather in North Texas.
Jeff Ray used some liquid nitrogen as it mixed with hot water to demonstrate the energy of a thunderstorm and the heat that can be released.
