Message From Gay Fort Worth City Council Member Goes Viral

Fort Worth's first openly-gay city council member says the response has been overwhelming to his speech on gay suicides.  At Tuesday night's meeting Joel Burns recounted his own childhood to send a message to gay teenagers.  Burns says his remarks were prompted by the recent suicides of some gay teens including one who attended an Oklahoma City-area city council meeting.
He's now working through more than 3-thousand e-mails.   Click here to see his  speech on YouTube.  It  has had more than 135-thousand views.
