Little Elm ISD Suspends The Sale Of Blue Bell Products

LITTLE ELM (CBSDFW.COM) - The Little Elm ISD Child Nutrition staff has made the decision to suspend all sales of Blue Bell Ice Cream products in the district.
This decision was made Tuesday, after speaking with the ice cream company's representatives.
The Blue Bell products sold in Little Elm ISD schools are not from the Broken Arrow Oklahoma facility.
The district says "We have decided to pull the products for now as a precautionary action due to the size of the recall. We appreciate our partnership with Blue Bell and their concern for the health of our students."
The district says the recall is indefinite and will have Blue Bunny ice cream products as replacement on campuses.
