Jailed Kwame Kilpatrick's Family Moves Out of Palatial Southlake Home

With Detoit's disgraced former mayor Kwame Kilpatrick back behind bars, his family has been forced to move from their palatial three-thousand-dollars-a-month rental home in Southlake.  Carlita Kilpatrick and the couple's three sons moved into the million-dollar home in late 2008 even before the ex-mayor got out of jail after serving 99 days in a public corruption case.  A spokesman says the family has moved into a smaller home somewhere in the Metroplex but he's not saying where.  When Kilpatrick was released in early 2009, he was given a six-figure job in Dallas and ordered to make six-thousand-a-month in restitution to the city of Detroit.  When he repeatedly missed his payments, despite a lavish life-style, the judge ordered him back to jail for up to five years.
