Hours Long Fort Worth Standoff Ends Without Incident

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A standoff in Fort Worth has ended with police taking the suspect into custody without incident.

Sansom Park Police tried pulling over the suspect, near 25th and Robinson, Tuesday afternoon. The family who lives in the house did know the suspect, but ran out when he went inside.

Police say he took off and ran into a nearby home, where he was holed up for several hours. Police did not believe he was armed, but did call SWAT out to the scene.

The suspect was wanted on an outstanding felony drug warrant.
