High winds, some snow, and wind chills in the 20s coming for North Texas!
Here's a look at what we can expect the next 24 hours in North Texas. Hang on to your hats! It's about to get even windier.
Winds have been gusting 30-40 mph this afternoon. Winds get stronger once the sun goes down with gusts to 50 mph overnight.
WIND ADVISORY is in effect for all of North Texas until 4am.
TEMPERATURES will drop off this evening too as the winds increase out of the northwest.

SNOW CHANCES
Along the Red River there will be a little light snow falling this evening. There could be a light mixture of rain and snow in the metroplex for those area north of I-20. Any wintry mix that falls will be light and surface temperatures will stay above freezing so no travel impacts are expected. The only issue will be where snow is falling we will see reduced visibility with blowing snow. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued until Midnight for Montague, Jack, Young, and Stephens County. A 1/2" to 1" of accumulation will be possible in these areas.

PRECIPITATION CHANCES THIS EVENING
WIND CHILLS IN THE 20s WEDNESDAY MORNING
Temperatures will be dropping into the 30s overnight. But winds will stay gusty thru the night and tomorrow morning. Wind gusts around daybreak Wednesday will still be around 35 mph. This will give us wind chills in the 20s tomorrow morning. Bundle up the kids for school tomorrow morning!
