If you've ever dreamed of flying in a World War Two P-51 Mustang or B-17 Bomber, you have a unique opportunity this weekend.
The Wings of Freedom Tour is making a North Texas stop over and bringing several of their best aircraft with them.
"This year they have brought in three bombers and their P-51 Mustang. We have the B-17, B-24 J-model and a B-25 J-model" said Frontiers of Flight Museum Curator Bob Welch.
You can meet Elinor Otto, one of the original "Rosie the Riveters" at 2:30 pm. Then on Sunday at 2:30 pm you can shake hands with Captain Jerry Yellin who flew the P-51 Mustang on the last combat mission in World War Two.
Tickets are only $12 to tour the planes, children 12 and under are $7, and World War II veterans are admitted to the ground tour for free. They are offering rides in these Warbirds throughout the weekend for a separate ticket price. All the money goes to keeping these amazing aircraft flying.
JD Ryan is on the flight line and Around Town!
