Free World Series Ticket, Dad's Emotional Reaction, Groom Calls In Bomb Threat
From $6 Bucks To Free, Fan Scores World Series Ticket
A baseball fan thought he hit a homerun online, but upon further review it turned out it to be too good to be true.
Erik purchased a ticket to game 1 of the World Series off StubHub for $6. The ticket was listed for $3, plus a $2 delivery fee and $1 service charge. Starting prices for tickets in the same area of Fenway Park were listed around $750.
Excited about his purchase, Erik posted a picture of his ticket online -- and proof of the six dollar price tag.
But the excitement was short-lived when StubHub contacted him telling him the seller was a fraud. The company is refunding his money – and giving him a comparable ticket for free under their fan protection policy.
Groom Calls In Bomb Threat To Avoid Wedding
Instead of walking down the aisle, a would-be groom called in a bomb threat.
Neil Mcardle didn't get cold feet, but he did forget to fill out the paperwork to book the venue for the wedding.
He called in a threat, causing the building to be evacuated after his bride was wearing her gown.
He's been sentenced to a year in jail -- and his fiancee -- Amy Williams – will be there for him when he gets out. She is standing by her man.
