Final practice before they hit the road

The Cowboys are in a walk through practice right now, and very loose.  Heard a lot of jabbering and locker room cutting-up as I hit the practice field today.  Coach Phillips said this morning they are ready to go.

There is a forecast of rain in Washington D.C. for Sunday but it is supposed to be early in the day, so it might be a little soggy Sunday night, but don't expect downpours during the game.  Cowboys are doing red zone work today along with short yardage and goal line drills.  Wade sez he likes what he has seen in practice from Barron and Holland, the two new starters on the OL this weekend.  Kosier and Columbo are expected to return to practice next week.[pullquote quote="We are not snapping the ball in the shower but we've played in the rain" credit="Wade Phillips"]

"Forecast of heavy rain, weather is a factor. We are not snapping the ball in the shower but we've played in the rain.  It changes the strategy.  We work on a wet ball, etc..with the team...we will work on those things...we'll see when we get there." said Wade Phillips

Holland and Barron practiced well. They've shown they can play...I think they want to show he can play for the Cowboys.
