DALLAS, Texas (105.3 THE FAN) - The Buccaneers played host to Bruce Carter on Tuesday and today have signed the former Dallas Cowboys linebacker to a four-year contract.
Carter, 27, was wildly inconsistent in Dallas but even as his playing time was reduced, he ended up recording 68 tackles while showing versatility at both the SAM and WILL spots.
The deal is reported to be $20.5 Mil for 4-years.

Carter was also a playmaker in 2014, intercepting five passes in 2014. The Buccaneers see him as a fit in their 4-3 defense, which is overseen by head coach Lovie Smith - a close friend of Cowboys defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli, who runs the same system in Dallas.
