Early Sunday Afternoon
Scattered showers and some thunderstorms will continue between now and 3:00 pm Sunday. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 2:00 pm for much of central and east Texas. A few storms in the DFW metro area could produce brief gusty winds and small hail, dime to penny size, but are moving and changing in intensity quickly and damage potential is low. Lighting will be possible through early afternoon, and use extra caution on the roads as conditions can change rapidly.
