DALLAS (CBSDFW) - Dallas Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man that threatened to harm himself.

According to police Jarrod Barnes is considered a 'critical missing person' after the made threats to harm himself. Barnes was last seen around 6:40pm Tuesday in the downtown Dallas area.

Barnes was driving a 2011 Gray Chevy Silverado pickup truck with Texas temporary license plate 40Y5040.

Anyone with information regarding he's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Dallas Police Detectives (214) 671-4268.
