SWAT Team Leaves Shooting Scene After No One Found Inside House

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth SWAT has left shooting scene in 5300 block of Whitten Street Monday afternoon after approximately seven hours there.

A woman was shot and rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital with what police now say are non-life-threatening injuries.  This after a fight that started at another location.

Dozens of police officers remained on the scene trying to make contact with someone inside a house.  A trio of negotiators showed up as well.  Turns out after searching the house there was no one inside.

Shortly before 6:00 p.m. a woman was led away in handcuffs.

No word on any arrests.
