LOUSIANA (CBSDFW.COM) - Introducing Maggie the deer.
During a recent photo shoot in Lousiana, she was even more curious than usual.
Photographer Megan Rion says Maggie wandered up to this baby. She captured this moment and now it's been shared all over the internet.
Maggie is a rescue deer who isn't afraid of humans. She's very friendly and has been hand-fed since she was a baby. Rion says this isn't the first time she's photobombed a picture. Maggie has appeared in about six or seven of her shoots.
Rion says she is already getting calls from parents -- some of them from Texas -- wanting to book photo sessions with Maggie. She just tells them, "I cannot guarantee Maggie will be available at that time. If she's there, we will get pictures."
White Tailed Deer and Mule Deer can be found in Texas. According to Texas Parks and Wildlife, "Texas has the most white-tailed deer of any state at over four million. The Texas 'Hill Country' (Edwards Plateau) is perhaps the most densely populated area of white-tailed deer in the country. West Texas and the Panhandle are the only areas which are spotty with whitetails."
