DART Officer OK After Being Hit By Vehicle

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A DART police motorcycle officer will be released from the hospital some time Tuesday after being hit by a vehicle shortly after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.
It happened at Market and Commerce where police said a driver ran a red light.
A DART police spokesperson said the officer did not suffer any broken broken bones or internal injuries.
The driver who hit the officer got a ticket.
No word on when the DART officer will return to work.
