DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Dallas police are asking for the public's help in finding Jimmie Ray Odom, who they say "may be upset and should be considered a danger to himself."

Odom was last seen on Saturday around 4:30 a.m. He was "running away from a disturbance" in the 4700 block of Fairmount Street, Dallas police said, and is considered a critical missing person.

Odom is described as a 43-year-old white man, who is 5-foot-11 and weighs 175 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, jeans, brown work boots and a black coat.

Those with information are asked to call 911 or DPD's Missing Persons Unit at 214-671-4268.
