Cowboys LB Lee Leaves Game With Hamstring Injury
NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- The Cowboys will have to mount a come-from-behind effort without defensive captain Sean Lee. Dallas' leading tackler left the Cowboys' game Sunday night against the New Orleans Saints because of a hamstring injury. Lee registered a team-leading 90-tackles heading into tonight's contest.
He was hurt during on Pierre Thomas' 6-yard run early in the second quarter. Lee walked gingerly to the sideline, where he was examined briefly before hobbling to the locker room.
Cowboys officials say Lee's return is doubtful. Lee entered Week 10 with 90 tackles, which was tied for the most in the NFL.
His departure from the game left Dallas without two key defenders. Tackle Jason Hatcher, who has seven sacks, was scratched from the lineup with a neck injury.
