Cowboys have a tense day

A fairly tense media session today with Wade Phillips as he took all the blame for the end of the second quarter blunder which ended up costing the Cowboys the game last night.  "They were devestating plays," regarding the obvious game ender and the Tashard Choice fumble/strip.

"Tony should have never thrown the ball but I have to interject more in that situation."

Wade was hit hard with questions today about his relationship with Jaon Garrett during the over-reaction Monday presser.  "He runs the offense, I run the defense and once again, I interject when I think appropriate.
"I believe in these guys and this team even though we made alot of mistakes.  We'll attack all of that this week."

On Alex Barron-  "Alex will work at it.  He is trying to correct things."

On another note, was talking to someone today at the Ranch who says he doesn't think Barron is much interested in football in general.  Don't know if he is right, but his performance was really poor and he had a reputation in St. Louis for kind of not caring.[pullquote quote="I believe in these guys and this team even though we made alot of mistakes. The good news: Wade says Kosier and Columbo will be back at practice on Wednesday.   DeMarcus Ware is fine.  Strained neck but he will be good to go this week.

One other thought on the game last night -  It sure seemed like they kind of forced the ball to Dez in that first drive a bit too much.  The hitch screen on back to back plays was weird.  Cowboys are off until Wednesday......a regular week after they got back in around 4 am this morning.
