Salvation Army Cooling Stations Open Across North Texas

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) – With the mercury in the thermometer continuing to rise and more scorching temperatures in the forecast, the Salvation Army has activating 14 cooling stations.
The locations are meant to provide life-saving relief for the homeless, people without air conditioning and those whose jobs require them to work outside.
The Salvation Army's two emergency homeless shelters in Dallas and Fort Worth are among the cooling station locations. These cooling stations will be open seven days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and are located at:
