Construction Begins on Southwest Parkway
Businesses in southwest Fort Worth have been dreading it, and now the construction along Hulen Street for the new Southwest Parkway is underway. Pople who work in the area tell KRLD they've alreayd planned alternate rountes.
Beginning today, the left lanes are being shut down on the north and southbound side of Hulen. Ultimately traffic will only get through in one lane on Hulen, and there will be lane closures on Vickery through 2011.
