Cold Windy Morning

This morning we tracked a strong cold front rolling over north Texas dropping temperatures while kicking up powerful north winds:

 

Temperatures dipped down into the low 50's after starting in the 60's just before sunrise. Clouds and some drizzle but the skies will clear mid-day. A little breezy this afternoon but not bad later in the day:

The clear skies and diminishing wind will allow for a cold night. Patchy frost is in the forecast, especially for the northern tier counties:

Sunshine and southeast wind will make for a wonderful afternoon on Monday. Great day after a cold start:

Heads up. On Wednesday an approaching dry-line could produce severe weather in the afternoon and evening. We'll keep you posted on this threat. Another system climbs out of the Southwest on Friday and gives us a chance for cold rain:
