Cold Night, But Warmer For The Weekend
TONIGHT… Mostly clear. Low of 28. Winds: NW/W 5-15mph
Winds will decrease this evening and with very dry air in place temperatures will drop off well below freezing. Everybody will fall into the 20s tonight. We will be down to 28 at DFW, but most areas will fall into the mid to even low 20s. There are a few high clouds moving our way from south Texas. The extent of those high clouds will have an impact on our temperatures. The more clouds there are the warmer temps will be. Clouds act like a blanket and keep some of the warmth from escaping back to space. Even thin clouds will make a difference. Regardless though, it will be cold tomorrow morning in the 20s, but thankfully, there won't be much wind.
TOMORROW…. Mostly sunny. High of 54. Winds: W/SW 5-10 mph
A few high clouds will be with us tomorrow, but otherwise mostly sunny and cool. But warmer than today.
SATURDAY… Mostly sunny. Morning low of 32. High of 63! Winds: SW 5-15 mph
A great day taking shape for Saturday. Temps warming into the 60s with a good deal of sunshine.
SUNDAY… Increasing clouds thru the day. Morning low of 37. High of 66! Winds: Breezy SW 10-20 mph.
An upper level low will approach from the west and bring increasing moisture back into North Texas. This will result in increasing clouds on Sunday. Winds will also increase out of the southwest. There will likely be some light drizzle and rain that develops Sunday night, but it looks like Sunday during the day will be dry and mild.
MONDAY… Mostly cloudy, 30% Chance of Rain. Morning low of 55. High of 68. Winds: SW 15-25 mph
A cold front will arrive Monday night. Before the front gets here we will have a mild, breezy day with temps approaching 70 if we can get some sunshine. There will likely be a few showers but favoring areas to the east of Dallas. That cold front that arrives Monday night will bring us slightly cooler weather for Tuesday, but not an Arctic Shot of cold air.
TUESDAY… Mostly sunny. Morning low of 45. High of 55. Winds: NW 10-20 mph
Behind the cold front sunshine will return with temps a little cooler as highs will be in the 50s.
