DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — A resident said a tweet saved his life when an alleged drunk driver plowed through the wall of a home in Dallas on Sunday.

Dallas police said a driver, who was believed to be intoxicated, smashed a pickup truck through the side of a home at 13100 Foothill Dr. after missing a curve.

A resident said he was inside the room. He said he would have been hit, but the truck missed him by about a foot after he moved to read a tweet.

Police said no one was hurt, and the driver was arrested.
