Business Burglaries Caught on Tape

Since July 5, 2010, Dallas Police Burglary Detectives have been investigating multiple business burglaries in which safes are stolen. 

Police say the suspects use hand tools to smash windows, pry doors or knock holes in walls from adjacent businesses to gain entry.  Once inside they remove the safe and take it to a waiting suspect vehicle.  These offenses have all been in the Southeast and South Central parts of Dallas.

The video from the link captures the burglary of the Malones Cost Plus, located at 3939 S. Polk, on October 4, 2010 at 3:30 am.  Three of the four suspects are seen entering the business and prying the office door open before carrying the safe to a waiting vehicle believed to possibly be a red or maroon Chevy HHR.
