No one was seriously hurt.
The bus was removed around 3:00 p.m. The bridge has reopened to traffic.
There's a very visible sign showing the clearance under the bridge is 9 feet. The city buses are anywhere from 10 1/2 to 13 feet tall.
Transportation authorities are trying to figure out why the driver, a 16-year veteran, tried to drive through there.
