Boy Killed by Car Near Paul Quinn College
Ericka Darden found her son dying in the street near Paul Quinn College in South Oak Cliff around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was rushed to the hospital but it was too late to save him. Dallas Police say six-year-old Keldrick was either playing in the streeet or ran out into the street when a car hit him. Ericka Darden says the street where it happened is notorious for speeders. But police did not arrest the driver, saying the death appears to be accidental. Keldrick was due to begin first grade next week.
