Back-To-Back Record Low Temperatures In North Texas
Record Cold: Two Days In A Row
Because the temp fell to 41 degrees before midnight, yesterday's record low was tied at 41 degrees. And we've been at 41 for several hours, which ties today's record cold. However, we will likely drop another degree or two to definitively break the record. Also, wind chills are as cold at 26-35 degrees this morning. Bundle up time!!!
Dry Morning Commute
Rainfall amounts have been light….generally trace to a tenth. Showers and a few storms are already pushing away from the Metroplex as of 3:30 AM. Possibly a stray shower through the 4:30 show, but looking dry beyond that. The winds are NW 10-20 mph with slightly stronger gusts. This will dry out roadways fairly quickly.
For this afternoon, a much better picture -sunshine and low 60s.
