Outrage over Indiana professor’s sexist post

Indiana University Bloomington has come under fire for refusing to oust a tenured professor for sharing racist, homophobic and sexist posts on social media. The college cited Professor Eric Rasmusen's First Amendment rights in its decision. The outrage followed a tweet Rasmusen sent out this month that quoted an article saying in part, "geniuses are overwhelmingly male." He included a link to the article, titled "Are Women Destroying Academia? Probably."

Startling video helped convict Patrick Frazee

Newly released video evidence used to convict Patrick Frazee of killing his fiancée, Kelsey Berreth, in Colorado was obtained by "48 Hours." It shows Frazee's secret girlfriend at the murder scene showing investigators how she cleaned up after the bloody crime. Frazee was convicted and will spend his life in prison. Nikki Battiste joins "CBS This Morning" to preview her "48 Hours" report, which airs Saturday, Nov. 16 at 10/9c on CBS.

Impeachment inquiry moves to next phase

The impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump is moving to the next phase after defiant testimony from the final public witnesses. Former White House official Fiona Hill and State Department staffer David Holmes recounted specific conversations implicating the president in a scheme to pressure Ukraine to investigate his rivals. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the evidence is clear that the president violated his oath of office, but President Trump says he did nothing wrong. Nancy Cordes reports.
