2 Women Robbed Of Cellphones In San Francisco's SoMa

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Two women had cellphones slapped out of their hands in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood early Thursday morning, police said.

The robberies were reported at 1:32 a.m. near the intersection of Folsom and Eighth streets.

The victims, ages 25 and 42, each were holding their cellphones when they were approached by two suspects, according to police.

The two suspects each slapped the phones away from the victims' hands and onto the ground, then picked the phones up and fled, police said.

The suspects, men in their early to mid-20s, have not been found.
