The Green Bay Packers do not have many holes in their game as they enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the NFC. However, one is their blocking in the kicking game. They allowed more combined blocked field goals, extra point attempts and punts than they had in the previous five seasons combined.

The Minnesota Vikings have more confidence and optimism heading into this offseason than they did a year ago. They have two of the most important pieces in place in head coach Mike Zimmer and Teddy Bridgewater. Also, they improved in several areas from the past season. The Vikings have 12 free agents this offseason, but just one opening day starter.
As the 49ers look back on this season, it will not be positive. The team almost had a losing record, and missed the playoffs after 3 straight NFC Championship games. However, the teams awful season has to do with injuries than anything else, and a problem that shouldn't haunt them next season.
New England's offensive coordinator says he's happy where he is, but at least one NFL team is seriously interested in interviewing him.
In the regular season finale the 49ers looked good. The offense showed up, the defense held strong, and the special teams chipped in as they beat a Cardinal team that entered the game with a chance to earn home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
There is still one thing for the 49ers to play for this season. Frank Gore is very close to another 1,000 yard season, which will not only put him in an elite group, but will help show that he is still one of the best backs in the NFL.
