Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has been diagnosed with viral meningitis and will be sidelined at least another week.
Tobias Harris scored a season-high 27 points, Channing Frye made a game-changing 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter and the Orlando Magic beat the Sacramento Kings 105-96 on Saturday night.
Rudy Gay had 27 points, Carl Landry made the game-winning basket with just under a second to play and the Sacramento Kings beat the Indiana Pacers 102-101 in overtime Friday night to stop a four-game losing streak.
Zach Randolph had 22 points and 12 rebounds, Marc Gasol added 18 points and six rebounds and the Memphis Grizzlies held off a late rally to beat the short-handed Sacramento Kings 97-85 on Sunday for their fifth straight win.
The NBA has denied a protest filed by the Sacramento Kings after a last-second loss to the Memphis Grizzlies two weeks ago.
Omri Casspi also scored 22 for Sacramento, which has won three in a row. Casspi, who made his first start of the season in place of the injured Rudy Gay, was with New Orleans for a brief stretch this offseason before being released in a salary-cap move.
Kings coach Michael Malone said Gay's injury has bothered the forward enough that the team will likely rest him for a couple of days before evaluating his progress.
