The disgraced biotech CEO, once compared to Steve Jobs, is now in custody at a Texas prison.
Elizabeth Holmes is a flight risk and shouldn't be allowed to stay out of prison while she appeals her 11-year prison sentence for defrauding investors, federal prosecutors said in court documents.
According to a new court filing by prosecutors Friday, Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes made an "attempt to flee the country" after her conviction last January.
Judge Davila suggested the founder of Theranos, who was convicted of fraud, be sent to a minimum-security facility.
