Even though it's only August, it's already starting to feel like fall in El Dorado County, because Apple Hill season is officially underway.
Beautiful weather gave people across the perfect reason to get outside this holiday weekend. Apple Hill was no exception as it hosted its official opening weekend.
Labor Day weekend is right around the corner which often means the end of summer, but it's also the unofficial start to Apple Hill season.
While it is opening weekend for most of the growers throughout Apple Hill, High Hill Ranch opened earlier.
The unofficial end of summer is here. That means people will soon be heading up the foothills to Apple Hill.
Christmas trees are already in high demand but many tree farmers are concerned about the future.
