Widow Of Murdered Pizza Delivery Man Hopes For Arrest

WILKINSBURG (KDKA) -- A Wilkinsburg woman marked the sixth anniversary of her husband's shooting death.

Lydia Williams marked the day with a visit to the Homewood Cemetery where he is buried.

Christopher Williams, 36, was delivering pizza in Braddock when he was killed Jan. 16, 2006 during a botched robbery.

Despite a $25,000 reward, mostly put up by an anonymous donor, no one has been arrested.

Williams said she wants her husband to rest in peace, knowing that the guy who did this has been caught.

The two were married in October 2005. Three and a half months later she was a widow.

In addition to his wife, Williams is also survived by an 18-year-old daughter who starts college in the fall.

Anyone with information is asked to call Allegheny County Police.
