T-Shirt Company Scrambles To Keep Up With Cub's World Series Comeback
GROVE CITY (KDKA) -- Chicago fans celebrated into the night, in the wake of the Cubs' long awaited World Series victory.
But one group that wasn't celebrating in the wee hours of Thursday morning was Ithen Global T-Shirt company in Grove City. When Cleveland took a three games to one series lead, they printed up a whole lot of championship shirts that proved to be incorrect. For owner Chris Ithen, it's part of the job.
"I've been up for 32 hours probably. It's a long process when you get into the championship," Ithen says it's not easy shifting gears.
"The problem is if we shift a press from Indians to Cubs, it's an hour. And once you start that process there's no turning back. So we waited and waited. And baseball's crazy, because it can change instantly."

Weariness shows on workers' faces, as the hours tick by. No stopping now. Production manager Brian Harcar says the rush began with the final out in the tenth inning.
"For the Indians, we had a cart set up, completely ready. So when we printed them, we could pack out a whole lot of boxes, getting them ready to go. And basically, what we had to do right after this game was start breaking down the carts, getting them ready for the Cubs."
The machines can print a thousand shirts an hour. The Cubs order calls for 20,000.
"You have to be incredibly fast, and have the same quality at the same time," Chris Ithen concludes.
Players aren't the only ones who feel the World Series pressure.
