Report: Steelers Lose Key Cornerback To Major Injury
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - After missing his rookie season due to shoulder surgery, Senquez Golson will now miss a major chunk of the 2016 season as well.
According to NFL Network reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala, Golson suffered a serious injury at practice on Monday.
There were high hopes that Golson would step into a major role on the Steelers defense alongside this year's first-round pick Artie Burns.
Golson was the Steelers' second-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Golson could now be a candidate for the IR/Designated to return list.
