Police Search For Suspects After Reported Gunfire In Rankin

RANKIN (KDKA) – Allegheny County Police are investigating after reports of shots being fired overnight in Rankin.
Police say there weren't any victims or property damage as a result of the shooting. Apparently, there was an exchange of gunfire between people in a van and some motorcycle riders.
A call to Allegheny County 911 Thursday morning reported an incident on the Rankin Bridge, involving shots fired.
There are reports the shots followed an incident at a club in Homestead that was hosting a bikers night.
Police from several different jurisdictions assisted as the search area spread to different towns, including Swissvale, Rankin and Munhall.
At one point, there was an incident involving a motorcycle and a van on the Rankin Bridge.
Police detained several people at the scene, who were all eventually released.
