Police said a man was found shot inside his apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified by law enforcement as 36-year-old Brandon Murray of Aliquippa.
Murray's mother, Belinda Alford, told KDKA that she wants answers from the police about what happened.
"He was a good boy, and he didn't deserve this," Murray said. "Whoever did it, I just want them brought to justice. That's all I have to say."
