Pittsburgh Weather: Cooler Air Invades To Start Week As Windy Conditions Persist

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The high temperature hit 57 degrees Sunday in Pittsburgh, putting us above average for the day.

Windy conditions will persist through Sunday night and Monday with gusts up to 33 mph for most of our region and up to 45 mph in the higher elevations of the Laurels and Ridges.

Otherwise, dry but cooler air invades to start the week with highs Monday and Tuesday in the 40s.

Warmer air returns Wednesday with continued sunshine, and 60s are possible toward the end of the workweek along with more showers.
