PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The National Weather Service's high wind warning was downgraded to a wind advisory Sunday evening.

The wind advisory continues through 7 a.m. Monday with gusty winds continuing to plague southwestern Pennsylvania.

We've measured peak wind gusts just over 60 mph at some local airports across the region.

As winds start to die down a bit slowly overnight, we will also see clouds start to break and leftover showers/snow flurries disappear.

Temperatures hit the upper 50s on Sunday morning and then started falling. They will bottom out in the 20s overnight with highs Monday in the 30s under partly to mostly sunny skies.

Winds should slowly return to normal levels by mid- to late afternoon Monday.
