Pittsburgh Weather: Few Showers Possible Later Tuesday
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Happy Fat Tuesday! March is coming in like a lamb!
Alert: None
Aware: Chance of a few showers later today/tonight and a better chance late tomorrow night.
We have a mixture of clouds and some sun on the way Tuesday afternoon, with mild air heading our way, which will push highs up into the 50s.
Moisture will follow later Tuesday afternoon/evening with a chance for a few scattered showers in spots through late evening.
Areas to our north could see a wet snowflake mix with the rain showers.
Wednesday will be just as warm, and dry during the day before a larger area of moisture arrives with a cold front later Wednesday night. This will bring a more widespread chance of showers for the entire region, mixing with or ending as a bit of snow showers into the wee hours of Thursday morning, leaving a coating in spots north of Pittsburgh and into the Laurel Highlands.
Cooler air invades Thursday, but we bounce back into the 50s and even the 60s over the weekend!
