Pitt's Dixon Previews Game Against Villanova
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Pitt Panthers men's basketball head coach Jamie Dixon joined the FAN Morning Show to preview Saturday's game against Villanova.
Dixon is not expecting junior guard Ashton Gibbs to play Saturday despite his repeated statements that he is not injured. Dixon said he will listen to the team doctors on when Gibbs will be allowed to return to the court.
Villanova is coming off a tough loss against Rutgers, but Dixon believes the Wildcats will be motivated and come ready to play.
Dixon previews the match-ups his players will face, and what game plan he might implement against them.
