Pirates' President Sentenced For DUI Arrest

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Frank Coonelly, the president of the Pittsburgh Pirates, was sentenced Friday in connection with his arrest in December 2011 on driving under the influence charges.

A judge ordered Coonelly to enter a program for first-time offenders.

If he does not have a second offense in the next five years, his record will be cleared. If he does, he could face time in jail.

Ross Township police pulled over Coonelly in December just off of the Parkway North near the Perrysville exit.

They say his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
