Pirates GM Neal Huntington Breaks Down Draft
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Dan Zangrilli and Kevin Orie chatted with Pirates General Manager Neal Huntington today during the Pirates Preview.
Neal credits his scouting staff for finding such high quality picks throughout the entire draft. He commented on the development of the draft class, mentioning Mark Appel, Jonathan Sandfort, and Wyatt Mathisen.
Later, he discussed the recent change of Stetson Allie from pitcher to fielder.
