HARRISBURG, Pa. (KDKA) -- It may soon cost more to have a package shipped if a plan proposed in Harrisburg goes through.
Governor Tom Wolf's Transportation Review Options Commission has proposed charging a fee for each package delivered by Amazon, FedEx, UPS and others.
Current proposals would charge a delivery fee between 25 cents and $1 for each package.
The belief is the fee would help cover costs of damage caused by more delivery trucks on the road.
