State Offering First Day Hike Events For The New Year
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is holding hikes across the state to celebrate the new year.
Forty-five different ones will be held on Jan. 1.
They'll be about a mile or two long, depending on the park and its terrain.
Last year, more than 800 people hiked nearly 1,900 miles throughout the state.
