New Pirates Manager Clint Hurdle Live In-Studio Discussing His New Team

Bucco Manager Clint Hurdle joined John Seibel of Seibel and Starkey on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN live in-studio today as the team kicked off PirateFest.

John found out early on in the interview how Clint feels about being called "skip."

Hurdle said there is a lot of energy around the David L. Lawrence Convention Center where PirateFest is being held and that isn't the only place where there's a lot of energy.  Hurdle's new team is full of energy as some of the pitchers were out throwing bullpen sessions this week in preparation for the season.

Clint said he is taking a look at the tradition behind the Pirates organization and trying to stress to his players how important it is to live up to that.

There are a lot of young players on this roster that Hurdle has taken on and he told us how he goes about getting the most out of their potential.
