Mother and daughter injured after domestic stabbing in Pittsburgh, officials say

A mother and daughter were injured on Thursday night in what authorities believe was a domestic stabbing in Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh Public Safety said that the mom and daughter were taken to a local hospital after the stabbing at an apartment building on Belleau Drive in the city's Fineview neighborhood around 8 p.m. They were last listed in stable condition. 

Officials said the search for the suspect continues. He allegedly fled the scene before officers arrived. No description of the man was provided.

Pittsburgh Public Safety did not release any additional information on Thursday night.
