MCKEESPORT (KDKA) -- Allegheny County homicide detectives and McKeesport police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a McKeesport woman.

The woman's body was found by a relative in the 800-block of Fawcett Avenue. Sources say she may have been dead for several days.

Police went door to door in the neighborhood asking people about the last time they had seen her or if they were aware of suspicious activity.

The victim's cousin was at the scene looking for answers, but did not get any. She described her cousin as a nice mother of two who lived alone and supported herself.

Police sources said there was no sign of forced entry.
