HICKORY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A man in Lawrence County died Saturday after his truck crashed into an embankment, went airborne, hit a tree, then overturned multiple times.

It happened on Harlansburg Road in Hickory Township around 11:55 p.m.

The victim, Jon Eric Campbell, 26, was ejected from the vehicle.

Campbell was pronounced dead on arrival from blunt force trauma. State police say he was not wearing a seat belt and speed was a factor in the crash.

A home was also damaged in the crash. A tire flew off Campbell's vehicle and crashed through the wall of a home.

"The wheel actually came off the truck right down there and went through my side of my house," Timothy Drake said. "I had a wheel in my living room. It was very sad."

No residents were injured.
